Resumen:
We determined density and magnetization magnitude in the Acoculco geothermal field, Mexico. For that purpose, we used terrestrial gravity and aerial magnetometry data. For the joint inversion of both sets of data, we assumed a petrophysical relation between density and magnetization that is also unknown. Along the inversion process, we estimated density, magnetization in every single prism in a 3D mesh and the coefficients from the petrophysical equation. The deeper part of the 3D model seems to describe a semicircular shape, that are apparently filled of intrusions. The difference between density and magnetization inside this semicircular shape can give us some insight about the characteristics of such intrusions, The shallowest part of the model keeps very good relation with the surface faults mapped. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd
