Regionalization and territorial changes in the Cienegas of Jalisco-Michoacan, Mexico (1990-2015)

Resumen:
The objective of the work is to address the administrative system of the 1990s that you configured the territory of Jalisco and Michoaccin regions to seek better opportunities for development and economic balance. In addition to the rural processes. is set in urban poles a new public policy federal decree and formation of metropolitan areas in much of Mexico, as a development mechanism that simultaneously generates more balanced economic processes in the country. The methodology used in the study has been mixed quantitative and qualitative approach, comparative and deductive methods, as well as techniques of application of surveys, interviews, field tours, realization of local maps about local resources, among other changes. The study in the Cienega de Chapala, in the States of Jalisco and Michoaccin regions, almost two decades from its territorial configuration linked to processes of formation of metropolitan areas, but with implications in the transformation of the territorial dynamics and inequitable, even marginal results for traditional farmers and coastal peoples.
