Modern citizenship and Human Rights in contexts of Democratic Fragility

Resumen:
This paper analyzes the boundaries of modern citizenship for Human
Rights' dignity on context of Democratic Fragility. Three arguments are
developed for this purpose. Differences between Liberal and Republican
Democracy to present the contradiction in both models that determine our
heritage on the fragility of contemporary democracy. Democratic
fragility as a place of opportunity for recreating citizen action today;
emergence of citizenship rootless whose practices allow us to imagine
possibilities about dignity of human rights in the present; and,
finally, emergence of citizenship rootless, whose practices allow us to
imagine possibilities for the dignity of human rights today.
