On the quantization of the electromagnetic field in accelerated frames

Resumen:
We have considered the quantization procedure of the electromagnetic field both in Rindler and Minkowski spacetimes. We then have analysed the Unruh problem, that is the thermal nature of the Minkowski vacuum state from the point of view of an accelerated observer. showing that. because of the different boundary conditions that should be imposed to the field in the two spacetimes, principles of quantum field theory do not give any grounds for existence of the Unruh effect.
