Resumen:
The relationship between the glass transition (GT) thermodynamics and the rigidity theory was explored by performing Monte-Carlo simulations (MC) for a simple model fluid. It was observed that rigidity plays an important role in the GT and also for the freezing in a hard-disk system (HDS). The results suggested that the structural relaxation time increases at the rigidity transition (RT), due to particle jamming.
