Resumen:
The study of these nappes, obducted during the Upper Maestrichtian, allows us to establish their relationships with the Arabian platform and to propose a mechanism for emplacement. Assuming that the Kurd Dagh and the Baer-Bassit correspond to the same ophiolitic assemblage and that we have identified the emplacement of the ophiolitic front in both massifs, the left strike-slip motion of the Levantine fault from the Miocene is about 80 km. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
