Resumen:
This article compares the educational proposals of the extreme right-wing parties that have had significant representation in the last European elections held in June 2024, in order to analyse whether they share the same project or differ in their strategic lines. The methodology used was Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). The sample analysed consisted of the electoral programmes, campaign documents and public statements on education of the leaders of the European far-right parties most represented in the 2024 European elections. The results show that the educational model they defend follows similar patterns that are replicated, with different emphasis in some aspects, but under the same general parameters that include not only recovering traditional and xenophobic approaches, but also the defence of radical neoliberal educational policies. The conclusion is that there is a common political agenda in education. That we can consider that a far-right International in Education (IdUE) is being constituted, although with different nuances and emphases. It is discussed whether public education and education policy can still be configured as a space of dispute to prevent the rise of neo-fascism and its progressive ‘normalisation’ by civil society. © 2025 Universidad Nacional de Educacion a Distancia (UNED).
