Resumen:
The aim of this research is to analyse whether teachers consider that an anti-fascist educational pedagogy is necessary in their initial and in-service training in the face of the rise of neo-fascism among the young people who currently populate the classroom and to what extent the education system has been responsible for this rise. For this purpose, a cross-sectional and descriptive survey was carried out between 25 August and 25 October 2023 among 1426 teachers from all over the country by means of a non-probabilistic incidental sampling. The results show that there is a high and significant percentage of teachers who consider that they should have received training in anti-fascist pedagogy and an overwhelming percentage of teachers who confess that they never did. The discussion and conclusions focus on teacher training policies in values, and specifically, on training in anti-fascist pedagogy as a necessary and essential approach today. As limitations, we point out the type of sampling used and the lack of triangulation of the questionnaire with other research instruments, which we will continue to work on in the future.
