Resumen:
Non-face-to-face education represented a challenge from different points of view, both for students and for teachers. In my experience, the essential ingredient for students to have the most meaningful learning possible was strenuous and constant communication. It was necessary to work student by student, task by task, exercise by exercise; it was necessary to address their doubts, understand their mistakes and let them know directly. At the same time, this generated a commitment from each student to correct the errors in their assignments, to detect their deficiencies and to attend to them personally. Because, at the end of the day, the responsibility for learning falls almost entirely on each student. In this way, the message that is transmitted in the face of the difficulties in non-face-to-face education is that the most important thing in scientific training is the ability to criticize one’s work, know how to correct it, and know that they all have to be done, changes and improvements that are needed, until the work, project or task is complete and well done. That is the responsibility of a scientist. © 2020. All Rights Reserved.
