Resumen:
Calculated Magnetic charts for the Republic of Colombia, Epoch 1995.0, are presented. These were elaborated using the available data recorded from 1954 to 1993 at the network of magnetic stations existing in the country. The horizontal field component (H), declination (D) and total intensity (F) of the Geomagnetic Field were regularly measured during this period. The chronological time series at each station with three or more repetitions were used to extrapolate to epoch 1995.0 using cubic polynomials. The data include also the magnetic effect of cortical sources and because of this a regional-residual separation was done using a third order surface, the regional trend representing the Geomagnetic Main Field (GMF). A comparison was done with the 1995-IGRF global model. The average relative error for the total intensity field is 0.2% (66 nT), for the horizontal component is 0.3% (84 nT), and for the declination 4.5% (10.8').
