Resumen:
In this work, we present a methodology for the semiautomatic segmentation of left ventricle of the hearth of mice in echocardiographic images of the murine model for Chagas disease. The methodology presented is based on the active contour model with shape prior. We will show through experimental results the good performance of the model and discuss pros and cons of the methodology. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2020.
