Resumen:
Two cases, a 16 mth old girl and a 13 yr old boy, are presented, both of which developed myocardial infarction as a consequence of an angiographic study. The boy showed electrocardiographic signs of lower necrosis with elevated SGOT and LDH levels and a satisfactory clinical evolution. The girl showed (electrocardiogram) an inactivatable zone on the lateral wall and signs which suggested anteroseptal subendocardial necrosis, and enzymatic elevation. She died 4 days after the hemodynamic study. The literature regarding this complication and the possible causes are reviewed.
