Resumen:
The effect of a physical context change after successive and simultaneous training of discriminated escape was evaluated in humans interacting with a virtual task. Using a compound discriminative stimulus (SD) with two elements geometric (GC) and non-geometric (NGC) an escape response was learned as part of virtual task in which participants were instructed to find a hidden goal within a time limit, with a SD composed of GC and NGC elements presented simultaneously (Group SI) or successively (Group SU) during training. At the end of training, two tests were performed in which each component of the SD was presented separately. All participants learned to find the goal regardless of training type. Groups without context change (SI-AA, SU-AAA) showed better stimulus control of escape behavior during GC than NGC tests. While the groups exposed to context change in groups SI-AB and SU-ABA showed similar stimulus control, in both tests the escape response increase during CNG test. The results are discussed within the theoretical framework of generalization decrement and contextual renewal. © 2016, Sociedad Mexicana de Analisis de la Conducta. All rights reserved.
