Relationship between the applied stress and cell diameter from the soft and hard region theory

Resumen:
By considering a simplified version of the soft and hard region theory applied for power-law-creep at steady state, an expression is obtained which relates cell or subgrain diameter D with the applied stress ?, D = K?b/? where K is a function of material parameters, and ? and b have their usual meaning. © 1994.
