Evaluation of the efficacy of low back pain management [Evaluación de la eficacia del tratamiento die lumbalgia]

Preliminary study in Pain Clinic identified incidence, prevalence and means etiology of LBR the purpose of this study was to identify establishment management and yuor efficacy. 119 patients was assessments by a questionnaire, the tools used for measurement the outcomes was VAS, Roland functional disability scale and patient personal appraisal with respect to management. Results showed that incidence of LBP was 18.4%, average age 61.7+/-9.5, gender predominate was female, 36 patients was under to something pharmacology management (30.2%), 8.4% under TENS, 26.8% with epidural steroi injections, 4.20% tigger points and 30.2% had a multimodal treatment. There wasn't difference between pain intensity and treatment establishment, likewise, personal report of satisfaction patient. Management multimodal is more efficacy than the unique modality. All patients referred high percentages of satisfaction.
