An ellipsoidal mirror furnace for czochralski growth

Resumen:
It is possible to heat a cylindrical crucible of about 90 ml to about 800°C in vacuum or to 700°C in a 300 Torr Ar atmosphere with a furnace made from an ellipsoidal mirror and a tungsten halogen lamp drawing 400 W, in an axial symmetry. The furnace is of simple design and construction, clean, and with very low thermal inertia, as is needed in Czochralski crystal growth. © 1980.
