Resumen:
A reply to the comments by Chakraborty and Tuteja [Phys. Fluids A 1, 1600 (1989)] is presented. After a careful review, it was found that their comments are correct. Despite this, the physical conclusions, for H = 0, concerning the implications of the problem on natural convection under a horizontal magnetic field remain the same. © 1991 American Institute of Physics.
