Resumen:
The spectral and magnetic characterization of the cyclic octanuclear compound [Cu(II)8(?-3,5-dimethylpyrazolate)8(?-OH) 8] and its analogue [Cu(II)(?-pyrazolate)(?-OH)] are reported. An octanuclear ring magnetic model describes the magnetic data of the first compound, in agreement with a strong antiferromagnetic coupling between the Cu(II) centers through the mixed bridging ligands. The same results are obtained for its Cu(II) analogue, which let us consider the existence of a structural arrangement of the same type for [Cu(II)(?-pyrazolate)(?-OH)]. © 1997 Academic Press.
