Resumen:
The San Juan Raya Formation has been studied since the last century by Mexican and foreign specialists. Most reports on the San Juan Raya Formation include reference to the invertebrate fossils, including corals, gastropods, cephalopods, pelecypods, brachiopods, and echinoderms. Coral reefs and ostreid banks have been recognized for certain strata in the formation, but no arthropods have been mentioned. The purpose of this work is to note the first occurrence of a decapod crustacean, Meyeria pueblaensis n.sp. from this unit. -from Authors
