Resumen:
This paper describes one series of consolidation tests on undisturbed samples of Mexico City clay. The tests were conducted to determined some fundamental data regarding the consolidation characteristics of Mexico City clay under repeated loading. The necessity of repeated oedometer tests and their analysis is emphasized by comparison of deformations under repeated loading with that under static loading. The samples under repeated loading conditions were more compressible that those under static loading conditions.
