Resumen:
The visualization of sentinel nodes in patients, who have been affected by breast and prostatic cancer is a procedure of common use in nuclear medicine. Our country has not a radioactive nanocolloid for this purpose. The objective of the present work consisted in the formulation of the radiopharmaceutical Tc-99m-Sulfuro Colloidal, in a way that the colloidal particles have a size of 20 - 100 nm, and a radiochemical purity higher than 90.0 %, which will permit the development of lymphographic studies in patients. To take effect a comparison of different procedures described in the literature was made, from these the Steigman's procedure was chosen, and a modification of this procedure is made. A modification of the tiosulphate and protector agent concentrations was done, and the final pH of the radiopharmaceutical, with the purpose to obtain particles with the average size in the range described before. The control of the radiochemical purity of the initial and final radiopharmaceutical
