Resumen:
We investigate the effect of an electric field applied transverse to the axis of cylindrical symmetry of a hollow cylindrical quantum wire on the energy ground state of the electrons in this wire. We investigate how the shift in the energy with field depends upon the ratio of the outer and inner radii of the hollow wire. © 2006.
