Resumen:
The emission probability amplitude of a Bessel photon by an atomic system within first order perturbation theory was computed. A closed expression of the electromagnetic potentials that permits a systematic multipole approximation was also obtained. It was shown that the emission of a Bessel transverse magnetic (TM) and transverse electric (TE) photon of order m induced a change in the projection of angular momentum along the z axis of the atom. For a Gaussian packet, the relevant parameter was found to be the ratio of spread of the atomic center of mass wave packet to the transversal wavelength of the photon.
